Former Allen & Unwin publisher Sophie Cunningham has turned her hand to fiction and produced a hip, erotic and very accomplished debut novel. 'Geography' primarily recounts the extremely dysfunctional relationship between a young woman and a middle-aged man. The sex scenes are extremely frank, and although all the sex is straight, there is a queer twist and one of the main characters in the book is a lesbian.
